Troy Duke, tattoo artist, body piercer, painter and all around crafty guy was born a Cape Fear Valley baby, 1968. A true Fayetteville local. He was drawing on the wall next to his playpen as a child so makes sense he got into graffiti at an early age! Excelling at art class in grade school,  he furthered his education in technical institutions and private tutors. Music came first though and although touring the country playing for a living had its moments, he eventually came back to settle in his hometown. Of course cities near any army base always have a proliferation of tattoo studios so his new course was set. He started his apprenticeship in 1991 at Skin fantasies tattoo but of course the road still called so after being mentored, again the mission was on. Ending up in San Diego then on to New Orleans then on to Miami and many ports in between. But the world shook for 9/11 and he felt the need to come back home. Opening a series of Studios throughout fayetteville, mentoring many highly skilled artists and working with many more. Currently the owner of Art-Works & Ink, pursuing an art career, the music is still coming and the vision stays true!
